Help regarding Installer Localization

I want to translate the Installer of Red Hat so, that I could make my own distribution, in URDU language. Please tell me how and where to get the installer source code, so that I could translate the po files and compile the installer to see the results. error while creating deb package

I want to add three languages as default in the additional support languages with english.And also the locales should be set to UTF-8 rather than utf8.In which file do i need to modify and what? thank you

Now, when we modify some package and then when we add it again to distro we got this message: error: rpmtsOrder failed, 6 elements remain We already looked all of our packages for crossing dependencies, but everything looks fine. Hi,there, I could not find the anaconda develop progress and direction discuss in this maillist. I think the develop term should talk about that here so that others will participate in development . For example, what and why modified between the FC6 test2 and FC6 test3, FC6 test3 and next version. I think the changelog in the spec file is simple. Thank you very much. -- --Pang Dawei

How to set locales in anaconda

hello all I want to set locales to en_US.UTF-8 in anaconda such that whenever I install my os with anaconda installer it should have en_US as default set.Which will help users to use my os instead of manually setting the locales to en_US. Which file and how i need to modify awaiting for reply regards Nirupama

getMethodUri

I've changed UrlInstallMethod to return a list in the case where we are doing loopback iso mounts on urls. I was wondering if it would make sense to make all getMethodUri calls to return lists? Currently we have getPackagePaths which is documented with: # modifies the uri from installmethod.getMethodUri() to take into # account any installclass specific things including multiple base # repositories. takes a string, returns a list of strings But it doesn't seem to return a list, we call items() on the resulting dict instead. We probably want one way of storing this in anaconda, maybe name : [ ], so we don't have to do checking for ListType in yuminstall.py. Paul

Debugging anaconda's init

Heya, I'm having a problem with init not umounting the NFS mount it grabs the stage 2 images from. Could anyone point me to what mangling I'm supposed to do to the stage1 images to get an updated init with debug in the build? Cheers -- Bastien Nocera <bnocera(a)redhat.com>
