Hi All,
I found four kernel RPMS are in Fedora Core2 CD, such as
1. kernel-2.6.5-1.358.i686.rpm 2. kernel-smp.2.6.5-1.358.i686.rpm
3. kernel-2.6.5-1.358.i586.rpm 4. kernel-smp.2.6.5-1.358.i586.rpm
I am looking for a minimal fedora core2 customized CD. So which kernel RPM shall I include in my customized CD. What is the difference between kernel and kernen-smp?
regards Susant

smp is for multi-processor (or hyperthreading) systems.
Is there a reason you want to work with such an old Fedora Core release?
If you must, you should at least use the latest security update kernel, <kernel-2.6.10-1.771_FC2.i686.rpm>.
