similar to #189 and #318
This badges continues existing badge for Release Party Owners. This time
for Fedora 23.
Everyone who organizes a Release Party should get a release specific
badge. Release Parties take place immediately after a new version of
Fedora gets released.
Although the owners will be known about 1-2 months afte GA release, it
will not be possible to assign the badge automatically, IMHO. Therefore
they have to be assigned manually, following a list FAmSCo will be able to
pass at some point to the Infra team.

Contributor birthday celebrations as an active contributor. 1 year, (maybe
2 years), 5 years, 10 years etc.
Based on FAS groups like cla_fedora (there are a few CLAs) and the fact
the dates they're approved are tracked along with the ability to track
active contributors it should be relatively easy to track how long a
contributor has been active and give them "cake" for significant
milestones.
Help the badges team understand what this idea is all about. If this

1) What are those activities?
1, 2, 5, 10, 15 etc years of active contribution

veterans? users? sponsors?)
All contributors that have the appropriate CLA(s) signed to be identified

4) When do they do them (every day? once a year?)

Actually we have a series for getting badges, 10, 25, 50 and 100 badges.
The serie could be completed by a fifth top badge when you get more than
150 badges.
Definition is already set, just copy the actual one and we are done.
When you get more than 150 badges you are hunting badges (at least
actually), so I think we could call it badge-junkie as sgallagh defined it
on IRC.
No idea about artwork, but we could do something junkie-like...

Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"):
Similar to the "Speak Up!" badge (https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge
/speak-up!), this badge would be awarded to a user who has linked their
FAS account with their IRC nick, and they speak for the first time in a
#fedora-related channel.
I think this badge would be important to help encourage new users to move
away from lurking and more towards interacting with others on IRC - this
might help encourage them to say hello or help another user out if they're
idling in one of the official channels.
I know the possibility of this badge depends if something like this is in
place already, but is it something that would be trackable with our
current infrastructure? Hopefully it would be - I would think this would
be a great "starter" badge for new users / contributors!
Badge Name Ideas:
- Hello There!
- Is this thing on?
Badge Description: "You spoke for the first time in a Fedora IRC channel!
Welcome to the club!"
Help the badges team understand what this idea is all about. If this
badge is awarded for certain kinds of activities:
1) What are those activities?
- Participating in discussion on IRC
2) Who is doing them (are they packagers? translators? newcomers?
veterans? users? sponsors?)
- Newcomers
3) Why are they doing them (is this a means to a different end?)
- Becoming more involved with the Fedora community
4) When do they do them (every day? once a year?)
- Ideally, when they first join the channel… ;) But it would likely be
early in a Fedoran's involvement.
5) How do they do them (by talking in IRC? by running commands in the
console? by using a web interface?)
- Talking in IRC
Lastly, do you have any ideas for artwork concepts?
Depends on if either of the two badge names I suggested are chosen:
"Hello There": Could be a group of pandas with one panda in the center
raising its hand, perhaps also more in focus than the others
"Is this thing on?": Similar to the IRC Support SIG badge, it could be
designed from the user-standpoint of that badge. It could be a panda
talking / tapping a microphone or holding a phone to its ear.

This badges continues existing badge #189 and #318 for Release Party
Participants. This time for Fedora 23!
What the badge should be granted for:
FAmSCo want to give all Release Party organizers a release specific badge.
Badge description (like "You added a co-maintainer to a package. BFF!"):
Everyone who organizes a Release Party should get a release specific
badge. Release Parties take place immediately after a new version of
Fedora gets released.
Anything else we need to know:
Although the owners will be known about 1-2 months afte GA release, it
will not be possible to assign the badge automatically, IMHO. Therefore
they have to be assigned manually, following a list FAmSCo will be able to
pass at some point to the Infra team.
