Guys,
I have just noticed that repo
http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/katello/candlepin/6/x86_64/
does not seem to be generated anymore. The latest version is
candlepin-0.5.32-1.el6.noarch.rpm
while in the Fedora 16 repo
http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/katello/candlepin/fedora-16/x86_64/
we do have:
candlepin-0.7.2-1.fc16.noarch.rpm
What happened?
LZ
The problem is that the EL6 builds in mock need the dependencies which aren't available in EPEL. The candlepin spec file doesn't know to use candlepin-deps for the EL6 builds.
Sincerely, jesus

We need a way to get all of the dependencies for the build or find a way for the EL6 community build to use candlepin-deps without affecting the internal build.

without it, Katello will obviously not function.

We want it. Spacewalk does support community RHEL/CentOS installations and it seems lots of folks are using it against those.
Jesus, how many dependencies are we talking about?
We are currently in process of setting our own Koji instance for Katello and the plan is to offer this (public) service for community builds also for you. It should not be a big problem to build some additional deps to the RHEL/EPEL tag and ship it along with Candlepin.

I beg you guys, please give it a priority. We all use Katello nightlies for daily testing and development on RHEL6. This is closer to our target CFSE environment.
Btw there is a new Katello Koji instance you can leverage for this. Ping me or msuchy for more details.

Yes, took this task today.
So in regard RHEL6 repo - we already have one built by our koji:
http://fedorapeople.org/groups/katello/releases/yum/katello-candlepin/RHEL/
I am not sure if this is what you ask for, Mike.
Now the Candlepin 0.7 - what are the changes in regard to packaging? Mirek looked on it and he reported there are some new dependencies (Hibernate).
From where should I take those deps?

There are a number of them required. http://fpaste.org/S8oq/

That is the million dollar question which is why I haven't built a 0.7.x EL6 package :)

This is for Candlepin we want to use in Katello. In ideal world it would be latest-greatest-stable. Those packages are build into koji tags: katello-thirdparty-candlepin-*
But you do not want stable build, you want nightlies. You can build whatever you want (latest-greatest-nightly) into tags: candlepin-nightly-* Once you will have all successfully build there, jblazek will create yum repo for you and you can use it as nightly.
