Since we need to poll kernel messages for oopses, we need
a daemon anyway. And since we'd prefer to restore core-pattern,
we can saddle this daemon with the task of setting and restoring
Actually I'm not sure if we need to restore the core_pattern, if we set
it in init script during the boot, then only think that can happen is
that someone else will change it later, which will disable our hook, but
probably intentionally, but the polling problem is still here.
