PolicyKit 0.92 has now landed in rawhide; the package name has changed to polkit and polkit-gnome, to allow it to coexist with PolicyKit 0.9 until the transition is completed. David has put a lot of effort into improving the api docs which are included in polkit-devel, which should help in getting the remaining porting done.
