Sure.

It's only a quick solution to the "they need to recognize Fedora just by looking at the screen but the wallpaper overlay is crap" purpose.

You quickly recognize a Ubuntu screenshot due to their orange
theme for instance, or a mac screenshot due to those 3 red, yellow, green buttons
on their window decorations. So even without looking at the logos you quickly identify those
systems when you see them.

And you quickly recognize GNOME, too.

Point is: mac's screen is mac exclusive, Ubuntu's screen is (almost) Ubuntu exclusive, but Fedora's screen is not Fedora exclusive (GNOME).

So, the detailed issue is to differentiate Fedora's GNOME from OtherOS's GNOME. For this, a logo and/or a theme come to my mind, and, as said above, probably a logo in the top bar would be the 'solution to this purpose' that uses less human resources, so that the few people available can focus on (and cooperate, and fix) more urgent issues (if they judge this way, of course).
