/usr/bin/gnome-default-applications-properties The "Preferences" menu used to have an icon to launch this application, but it is missing now. Any ideas what happened?

lingering control-center bug with the associated .desktop file is my guess. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=133310
default-applications and sessions are the only menu items i think are still missing, previously it was nearly all the control-center items.
