Just stumbled on this interesting issue in ask fedora:
https://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/3996/lock-screen-shows-desktop-icons
Basically, when you turn on the Desktop icons using the tweak tool, they are also shown on the lock screen.
Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to work around this issue?
cheers, ryanlerch

That's a bug, will be fixed in GNOME 3.8 once the new background handling code is finished (currently being reviewed).

So there is no way to workaround this for F18?
Also do you know if there is a Bug for it in the GNOME or Fedora Bugzillas? (just so i can point the user to it on askfedora)
