Fedora 27 Workstation comes with gedit 3.22.1. But for flatpak it's 3.22.0. Is this expected?
I expect that the flatpak version would show up sooner, or at least appear at the same time as an updated package for Fedora.

Where did you take it from?
Flathub has gedit 3.22.1
I got it originally from flatpak.org, I don't know anything other than what flatpak info shows which I posted.

Ok, so that was probably from the old gnome repo.
The stable GNOME apps were recently all moved to Flathub:

It's not... not expected. Fedora isn't currently shipping or producing Flatpaks, and has no control over what other Flatpak repositories do or do not do.
Workstation WG, and especially the people working on promoting a) Flatpak and b) applications from third-party repos on Fedora via Flatpak, the confusion here seems like a serious concern. How can we fix this?
