There is a process, firefox-bin that keeps popping up in the System Monitor, consuming 143 MB of memory. I have somewhat of a limited machine. What is the process doing? It runs even when the browser is closed. Is it part of the yum or Up2date process, Up2date kind of kills the performance on this machine also.
Hi Daryl,
firefox-bin is the actual web browser binary. I don't know why it keeps showing up for you, but are you *sure* the browser is closed? Just wondering. I hope you can figure this out,
