After going through the couple of related bugs, I think it's a Fedora (not Gnome) issue and needs to bring an attention to the package maintainer for gnome-system-monitor for Fedora.

Added Will in the CC list, who can probably give us a direction since he knows this better.

Correct - patches were submitted upstream[1] but only the first one was accepted. I haven't had time to rework/resubmit the patches.

Until that happens, the translations get put directly into about-this-computer.desktop, which lives in the gnome-system-monitor package:

Add translations there[2] and I'll try to get someone to help me upstream the other patches so we can get this string translated normally.

[2] g-s-m allows checkins from provenpackager, so there are quite a few people who can make the change for you if you can't do it yourself.

I've rebuilt the package with current wiki contents, this morning.
