Dear list,

There is an issue in Fedora Workstation with VTE for quite a while now that is not getting any sign of progress.

Vte overwrites PROMPT_COMMAND environment variable with its own command and in the process breaking user's own setting, and in some cases even other applications.

I've filled out a FESCo ticket [1] with this issue after I've got directed to this list.
