Hello people,
does anybody know if the files /etc/profile.d/lang.{csh,sh} are still used
these days, and what for?
Do we still need them in Fedora?
Should they be installed by default these days?
Any info is appreciated! :)

When I try to fork rpms/thrift, I get the error message: Repo
"forks/ctubbsii/thrift" already exists.
However, it clearly does not exist. It is not listed at
https://src.fedoraproject.org/user/ctubbsii , which shows 0 forks.
Perhaps I forked it in the past, and the delete did not get cleaned up
correctly? I don't know.
python2-notebook is a leaf package (nothing in Fedora (build)requires
it). I'd like to drop it from rawhide. Any objections?
This **does not** affect the ability to run Jupyter Notebook (via the
jupyter-notebook command) with Python 2 kernel (from the
python2-ipykernel package).

Hello,
I'm trying to update the rpcsvc-proto package.
When I try to create a new update, the system
only gives me rpcsvc-proto-devel as a choice
not rpcsvc-proto.
Where do I open up a ticket to get this taken
care of?
steved.
Hi,
i tried to update a few of my packages for f28, but this fails with this message:
$ fedpkg clone nuvola-app-jango; cd nuvola-app-jango; git merge master
$ fedpkg switch-branch f28
Could not execute switch_branch: Unknown remote branch origin/f28
f29 package builds fine:
https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/nuvola-app-jango
How can i solve this ?
Thanks
Martin

It is yet another hidden change not listed in above.
python3-dnf subpackage started (again) require deltarp.
Previouselly is spec was "Recommends: deltarpm" and now it is (again)
"Requires: deltarpm"
dnf maintainer(s) knows about this
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1583834
However for some reason looks like they prefers to apply kind of ostrich
tactics.
Because today has been published next dnf release I'm going to repeating
the bugzilla ticket question about deltrpm question but this time
publically.
I want to believe that it was nothing more than trivial mistake because
Fedora does not offer repo with delta files so fixed instead weak
dependency does not make here IMO sense, and such change only pointlessly
enlarges the size of the @core.
