What I read your comments as saying is that give that Fedora Core is free (as in beer) then there is no problem with including it in Fedora Core. The problem lies in people using Fedora Core down-stream. Am I right?
And the fact that the goal of Fedora is freedom as in "libre". An mp3 player would fail that goal. Lots of non US people make MP3 player packages available at the moment although that might of course change if EU law changes.
And Australia with the 'free trade agreement' with the US gets some of the DMCA as well so I wouldn't know how we stand in regard to this.
