Hello,
Would anyone like to swap reviews please? I've got two more python packages that are now ready for review:
- python-fslpy: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1645329 - python-fsleyes-widgets: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1645661
One can follow the NeuroFedora reviews here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1276941 and here: https://pagure.io/neuro-sig/NeuroFedora/issues?status=Open&tags=S%3A+Nee...
This is the list of packages in that still need packaging: https://pagure.io/neuro-sig/NeuroFedora/issues?status=Open&tags=S%3A+Nee...
Hi Ankur,
I could look into your review requests later.
Maybe we can do a review swap with python-slacker and slack-cleaner? Currently, I am working on both of them but not yet finished to have it ready for review. https://github.com/os/slacker https://github.com/kfei/slack-cleaner https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1645723
Regards, Raphael

Sure. I've taken up slack-cleaner already and will review them both once they're ready
Here is another package that needs review. Happy to swap a review for it too.
python-duecredit: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1645768
I am taking this.

Thanks Manas. Until we get you sponsored to the packagers group, you can only do unofficial reviews. So, you cannot approve the package at the moment. I welcome the unofficial review, of course :)
Hello,
Would anyone like to swap reviews please? I've a very simple, straight forward package that needs review:
libb64: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1645848
It's a very simple library that's needed for us to package biosig[1].
[1] https://pagure.io/neuro-sig/NeuroFedora/issue/56
Hello,
libb64 still requires review---thanks to the comments it has already received, it should be quite an easy one:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1645848
python-petlink is another really simple python review: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1648251
Any takers? I'm happy to review packages in return.

Yes, of course! How about you ping me in #fedora-neuro sometime and we can plan the best way to get you on track to being a package maintainer for Fedora? How does that sound?
This goes for anyone else that would like to learn packaging too. Please ping me on IRC and I will be delighted to help you learn the required skills and navigate the sponsorship process!

Hello,
We now have enough software in NeuroFedora to create Comps groups and think of a Spin/Lab. Would anyone like to join the NeuroFedora team as our Spin master?
We have two sessions at Flock too. So if you are going, please attend them to learn more:
Talk: NeuroFedora: FOSS and Open Science https://flock2019.sched.com/event/S5mC/neurofedora-foss-and-open-neuroscienc...
Hackathon: Fedora and the future of Free Science: https://flock2019.sched.com/event/SKrW/fedora-and-the-future-of-free-science
FAQ ---
1. What is NeuroFedora? Essentially, it's a set of packages just like any other Fedora packages. The only difference is that these packages/software are all related to Neuroscience. This includes modelling, imaging, data analytics, and anything else that anyone interested in Neuroscience may use.
2. Why NeuroFedora? Because FOSS and Open Science go hand in hand, we've come together to provide a ready to use Fedora based platform for neuroscience users. Instead of spending time setting up their systems, installing software, we want to provide them with an installable ISO image.
3. What skills do I need to be Spin master? None at all. Spin creation simply requires knowledge of the Fedora Spin process and all of it is very well documented. Whatever skills you need can be learned "on the job". The NeuroFedora team has quite a few contributors that have been around for a while and can show you the ropes.
4. Where can I learn more about NeuroFedora? All our links are listed here in our documentation: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/neurofedora/communicating/
5. Is there anything else I can do? Where do we even begin!? So much! Have a look here: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/neurofedora/contributing/
