As per the Fedora 16 schedule [1], Fedora 16 Beta Release Candidate 4 (RC4) is now available for testing. Please see the following pages for download links (including delta ISOs) and testing instructions.
The priority in RC4 testing is to complete the installation tests. We must complete these by 14:00 EDT on Thursday 2011-09-29 in order to avoid slipping the Beta release again. The Base and Desktop results can be inherited from RC3, so they are not as important as the Installation tests.
The only changes from RC3 to RC4 are new builds of anaconda and grub which together should fix EFI installations. If you wish to test EFI installation, please use the DVD or netinst images: the live images are not EFI-enabled. If you use the netinst image, for now, please add this repository:
http://www.happyassassin.net/extras/repo_grub/x86_64
to get the fixed grub package included in the installed system. It should arrive in updates-testing quite soon, but until then, you'll need the extra repository. When doing an EFI install you'll get a warning about grub and grub2 conflicting; don't worry about this, you can proceed safely and the install should succeed.
