It was good to see some packages removed from fedora to make room for new ones. I guess all had alternatives (except gnuchess/xboard, I thought about maintaining it in Extras but then remembered how it always beats me and grinned :-D )
Still, would be nice to have a proposal for removal on devel list first. Feels more like community.
How about removing nedit too? I find out about it by typing "nc" instead of mc (nc is also netcat)
Waiting for FC Extras submitting policy to be done and commit Hylafax,
Well, I have quite a few users that WANT nedit for coding, so I am not against this move provided you assure me I can still install it easily (read extras...) and timely update it. While I am at this, is there any easy postinstall method for installing stuff from extras using a kickstart installation??
Cheers
Gianluca

Some of us like nedit and would be very disappointed to see it removed. I can certainly see that nc could be removed/renamed since it conflicts with netcat's nc but nedit itself ... no, that would be undesirable.
