*Why do you believe diversity and inclusion are important for Fedora?* Building great software to support the world`s need for reliable free software requires that we identify both developers and users on global comprehensive perspective. For this reason, diversity initiatives will enable Fedora Project to further improve the quality of the distro.
*Why do you want to serve as Fedora’s Diversity & Inclusion Advisor?* Being a free-software (including Fedora) user for several years, and being from Brazil I understand I can contribute to thee project evolution with different insights and help in the ultimate goal of creating the best free open source linux distro.
*What specific minority group(s) or issues can you offer insight about?* I can certainly contribute a lot on Latin-America perspective among others.
*What perspectives, experiences, or knowledge about diversity and inclusioncould you share with the Fedora community?* In my previous company I supported initiatives to improve the availability of books and development for local poor libraries and see how free open source software can boost the development of poor comunities.
*Do you have experience working across various cultures? (Cross culturalrefers to various geographies, cultural groups, etc.)* In my jobs I always ha interactions with different countries and cultures, so this open position will enable me to transition this skill to open-source domain, of which I'm currenty only a user. In my profession I also spent some good time in France.
