Good day,
I've published the F18 Security Guide in both Italian and Japanese (as well as English). These translations were at 100% when I checked them earlier today and so I've pushed them to the website[0]. Please look over them to make sure that there are no errors and if anything needs to be changed, do so in Transifex and then let me know so I'll pull the changes and republish.
I had some problems compiling the Dutch translations. I'm going to try to pull those problems out and open a bug for them.
It's always a good idea to build your translations locally using Publican. All the source is stored in Fedora Hosted[1] using git and once you put your translations into the proper language folder you can issue the command:
publican build --embedtoc --publish --formats epub,html,html-single,pdf --langs LANGUAGE_CODES
This will build the guide in the proper language (you must change the LANGUAGE_CODE) and you'll immediately see any errors that were generated during the build. Heck, if you get that far you can always publish[2] the guide to the website[0] yourself with the addition of a couple of commands (You do have to be a member of the proper FAS group. Just ask on the Docs list.)

Fedora Docs Leader
This is an automated message to remind you that we will be meeting at 1400 UTC in #fedora-meeting. Unless we've previously agreed that we will not be meeting today.
I'm a silly girl who is subscribed to different lists from different
addresses. So I'm copying over a thread that should have gone to this list
already.

Yup... and partly why I've been a little more slack than I meant to be.
Corralling this many people is hard! And since not everybody is on every
list, copying them all won't work that well either. So... I've got
marketing, news, docs, and logistics (Insight) copied here. How about if
everyone who is personally interested just email me off list by Thursday,
and I'll try to get us all into one IRC or discussion about what to do.
Does that work?

Hi Ruth,
I would also be interested in brainstorming across the Docs and
Marketing teams. Also, I recall in a conversation on IRC when this
was brought up initially it had been mentioned that a reincarnation of
insight.fedoraproject.org would be the best avenue. In my opinion we
could use the domain but it will need some reworking as the update
mechanism is entirely manual IIRC.
Cheers

Copying the marketing list because there's been interest there as well in
putting some life back into FWN. How about a cross-team IRC meeting?

Hi News Team --
Let's talk about what we need to do to put the "Weekly" back in Fedora
Weekly News.
I've been writing the "In the News" beat (on weeks when we put out an
issue), but I'm happy to help out more with editing, beat rustling, or
any other bottlenecks we identify.
Would it make sense to schedule an irc meeting or perhaps a Google
Hangout to regroup?
Regards, Jason
