Hello Fedora Documentation list members.
The purpose of this e-mail is only to introduce myself to the list. My name is Gian Paolo Mureddu, and I'm an avid Fedora user who would like to contribute in some way to our great community. I figured that doing so by documenting, reviewing, discussing and proposing to the documentation project would be one way to do it. I reckon that we in the Fedora community are missing a centralized source of Fedora-specific, Linux-in-general documentation, especially since a lot of users seem to be oblivious of the existence of www.fedoraproject.org/wiki
I'll now run through the archives and read all there is to read to get started... So I guess that for now I have my hands full. Anyway, hello to all the Fedora Documentation Project members!
Welcome to Fedora-Docs ;-)

I think "missing" is probably not the right word, since a lot of people spend a *LOT* of time editing the wiki and making sure it has lots of good, updated information available. With the release of Fedora Core 5, and the upcoming Core 6, the default Web browser bookmarks even include helpful links such as going directly to the wiki.
We are working on a new "front page" that would be delivered into the Web browser to make the navigation even easier. If you want to get involved, you can contact one of our contributors, Bob Jensen, who has committed to getting that particular work off the ground:

Maybe just the last couple of months would be enough to get an idea of where we are. Even on a lower-traffic list like ours, that's a lot of reading! Don't let it keep you from making some real contributions, though, there's plenty of work to go around here. :-) Welcome!
