Crantila, Are you ready to push this to docs.fp.o so we can all see how it's going?

Hi Eric and others:
I'm not really sure what's expected of a draft that makes it onto the website, but here's my plan for completion:
28 & 29 July: transfer wiki draft into DocBook on git, almost verbatim, links and most formatting still in MediaWiki format, etc.
30 & 31 July: days off; yes, this is Friday & Saturday.
1 & 2 August: take care of already-known errors/mistakes/deficiencies.
3 August: partial day off? Probably good time to post a draft on the website here.
4 - 8 August: establish consistent style* and complete MediaWiki->DocBook formatting
9 August: Fedora Summer Coding completion date
after that: -make sure the supplementary materials are ready, including diagrams/infographics (hopefully somebody can help me with that - Ryan Lerch? :D ), -scores and source files for LilyPond, -source files and audio recordings for SuperCollider, -audio materials for Ardour, Rosegarden, and Qtractor.
If there's time before the F14 branch (31 August?), I'd like to read everything again after the deadline, because some of this stuff is currently in need of serious help (Solfege & Rosgarden in particular), and one stage of revision might not do it. We'll see if there's time, depending on what real life has in store.
* The "Consistent Style" is going to be applied as per the Apple Style Guide. I chose this because I like the style/feeling of their documentation, because I'm already somewhat familiar with it, and because, of the major style guides for software documentation, this Guide's target audience is most likely to be familiar with that one. Mac OS X is, after all, the OS of choice for Creative People(TM).
Finally, the project's schedule has always been posted here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Crantila/FSC/Schedule
... but it was still at the beginning of July until about two minutes ago. I'll keep this updated now, I promise!
The original question was whether I'm ready to post a draft to the website, and the answer is: "No. Do it next Tuesday."
Christopher.

The F14 branch is happening now. Previous to F13, branches used to happen much later. Earlier branching is being done to make testing of the upcoming release less painful, without blocking more risky development (which can continue in rawhide).
Bruno:
Thank you for alerting me to this. I agree with this kind of thinking, too.
But it means two things: 1.) This calendar is wrong: http://poelstra.fedorapeople.org/schedules/f-14/f-14-docs.ics 2.) If the branch is happening now, the Guide won't make it into F14 without an exception being granted. I'm completely neutral on this.
Christopher.

That's a different branch event. I missed the context. I usually take "branch" without qualification to mean the development release branch. But lots of other things have their own branches that happen at different times. In this case you seem to have been referring to the guides provided by the docs group. I don't have any special knowledge about that event and I would assume the schedule is correct.
Sorry, about wasting your time with the confusion.
