eclipse failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide/f31
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=36632881
For details on the mass rebuild see:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_31_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix eclipse at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
eclipse will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 32,
eclipse will be retired, if it still fails to build.

When trying to install either of the updates to jmc:latest or jmc:7 [1], the
installation fails with e.g.
file /usr/lib/.build-id/43/6307dc22dd874edd6c0bf49cd1d43b3b1980b2 conflicts
between attempted installs of
jmc-7.1.0-2.20190524hg4c9efa5eb5b8.module_f30+4549+4157fe94.x86_64 and
eclipse-platform-1:4.11-4.fc30.x86_64
This build-id links to /usr/lib/jmc/jmc* for package: jmc
This build-id links to /usr/lib/eclipse/eclipse* for package: eclipse-platform
This issue is new and prevents installation of jmc.
The thread [1] suggests that -g should be used but it looks like it was removed
in [2]. This might explain why it didn't occur in previous releases. Should
this fix be applied to the jmc package or to the eclipse package?

Summary: jgit fails to launch due to missing

Classification: Fedora
Running jgit from f30 or f31 fails due to a missing java class:
$ rpm -q jgit
jgit-5.3.0-5.fc30.noarch
$ jgit --version
/bin/build-classpath: Could not find xz-java Java extension for this JVM
/bin/build-classpath: error: Some specified jars were not found
Error: Could not find or load main class
org.springframework.boot.loader.JarLauncher
I noticed this because the git test suite uses jgit for some compatibility
tests.

Summary: Weird screen drawing bug in Eclipse on F30 - Text from
Package Explorer area is rendered in the Editor area

A screenshot showing the problem
Description of problem:
When using Eclipse on F30, the following behavior is experienced:
If the Package Explorer view is open, with a Java project open, and you expand
the src tree to view packages, and then grab the vertical divider that
separates the Editor area from the Package Explorer area, and drag it to the
left, so that the Editor now covers space previously used to render the Package
explorer, when you release the mouse button, the text from the Package Explorer
view is *still* being rendered and overlaps into the Editor. It's not just a
left-behind artifact of rendered text either... if you go and collapse the src
tree in the Package Explorer, and then click somewhere in the Editor pane that
was previously part of Package Explorer, the src tree is re-expanded and the
left-over text starts flickering and flashing in and out as you move the mouse
around, etc.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
F30 with latest updates as of 07-06-2019
Eclipse 06-2019
How reproducible:
Every time. I've tried on KDE (my default and where I first noticed it), as
well as Gnome and Gnome on X.org. The same behavior happens for all three.
Rebooting doesn't help either.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Eclipse
2. Open a Java project, expand the src tree in Package Explorer
3. Drag the left edge of the Editor pane left to cover some of the area that
was previously used for the Package Explorer
4. Release the mouse button
Actual results:
1. Text is drawn in the wrong place, and focus does weird shit.
Expected results:
1. None of the above happens, and the windows are drawn properly without stray
text in the wrong place, and without focus wonkiness.
