Shirt data from Tempe

As a point of reference, here is the number of shirts we ordered for Tempe, replete with sizing information. Note that I culled this information from the wiki signup sheet - future fudcons may require adjustments. Also, these are american apparel shirts, which run small, therefore I ordered larger than what people requested - anyone ordering different brands will want to change mediums to smalls, etc. Men: (177 total) Small - 8 Medium - 31 Large - 54 XL - 53 2XL - 23 3XL - 8 Women: (23 total) Small - 2 Medium - 10 Large - 7 XL - 4

FUDCon Milan: Hotel updates

Hi guys, there are some important updates about Hotel reservation in Milan. Yesterday we got the notification from the "UNA Hotel Mediterraneo" that all the rooms are fully booked. Fedora Group has already reserved a pool of 20 rooms (and they are still reserved for us), but unfortunately there's no more room for other people. So, we arranged another agreement with an hotel very closed to that one (Hotel Perugino). It's just 5 minutes walking from the other one. Both hotels are listed on the wiki as suggested hotels and you can find all details there. We have also the same price (85 euros per night, taxes, breakfast and wifi included). On this spreadsheet you can see the current arrangement for the rooms: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmzMMPA67hiGdEhZWUxRa2lfbFd2M0… If you need to reserve a room and your name is not there, give me a call (by mail or gTalk on fcrippa(a)byte-code.com) so that we can add your name on the spreadsheet and make the reservation to the hotel. You can also reserve the room by yourself. In that case be sure the hotel: 1. understands your language (if you speak Italian, you're fine!) ;-) 2. is aware you are part of the "Fedora Group" 3. is applying the proper daily rate (85 EUR a day, taxes, breakfast and wifi included) I'm always available in case of problems. Hotel FUDCon Milan

Hi guys, I've an agree from the Hotel to use the credit card to pay the deposit for FUDCon Milan (I need the details or Jared has to call the hotel directly). That would be useful to skip the bank transfer. Jared: I'll be on Jabber/gTalk for details. Now a bad news... The hotel is apparently fully booked for that weekend!!! 20 Rooms are reserved for FUDCon (no problem for them), but could be a problem to reserve more than that (as agreed they called me to inform about the booking status... and as usual things went in the Italian way... the called me when they reached the "100%"... not just before...). Anyway I'll send you some updates tomorrow (about possible rooms available and availability of other hotel near that one). Take care Francesco

Travel planning for FUDCon Milan

I've had several people ask me about the status of the hotel and other travel logistics for FUDCon Milan, so here's a quick status update for those who are attending. The hotel we've selected is the UNA Hotel Mediterraneo in Milan. Don't feel like you have to stay at that hotel -- that's simply the hotel that we're selected for people who have been granted travel subsidies. From what I understand, it's about a ten or fifteen minute walk from the University where we are having FUDCon. The hotel has offered us a special price of 86 Euros per night for a double-occupancy room. If you'd like to stay at the same hotel, feel free to contact them directly and tell them you're part of the Fedora group. If you're receiving a travel subsidy to attend FUDCon Milan, your hotel room has already been reserved for three nights (30 September - 03 October). Seeking information on FUDCon Milan sleeping arrangements

Hi everyone, There are a number of folks in EMEA, and in other places, who are confused as to the hotel arrangement for FUDCon: Milan, and I was hoping we could resolve them and get the information put up on the wiki, so as to alleviate people's concerns. #1: There is a block of rooms. How big is the block of rooms, who is staying in the rooms? Is there a master hotel room list where people can "reserve" their room? #2: For people who are not sponsored, where should they book their rooms, or are they staying in one of the rooms blocked? #3: What is the deadline for booking a room? What should people do after that point as far as reserving a room? Other questions welcomed. People are concerned to the point that they are not booking their travel, so getting this fixed as soon as possible would be appreciated. We're all here to help out - if there is something others can do to help organize the FUDCon in Milan, let us know! -Robyn
