[Fedora-i18n-list] Configuring default font

Hello All Sorry, if my question is elementary. I have installed Persian fonts. Is there a way to configure the system to use a special font as the system default font? I can view and edit text using installed fonts, but I don't know how I can specify a font to be the default one. (For example, in desktop environments or widgets' captions.) Best Regards Ali

Kde basque translation in fedora

Hi all, I'm Marcos Goienetxe, the kde basque translation team coordinator. I noticed there is not kde-i18n-basque package in fedora, being basque an official kde language since 2004. I don't know who should I contact to fix this. Any hint would be appreciated. Thanks a lot, marcos

F9 Feature planning meeting

The Fedora I18n project is going to have a project meeting next week to discuss our feature plans for Fedora 9. Time: 2007-11-29 05:00 UTC [1] Place: #fedora-meeting If you have ideas for i18n related features please submit them before the meeting. If you are unable to attend you can also follow up with any comments afterwards to the meeting summary/log. Some of the current possible features we are considering include: - Handwriting recognition for Chinese characters - IM Desktop integration - Fonts - Thai fonts and support - new default Japanese font: VLGothic-fonts - additional fonts for current languages Other suggestions and proposals are most welcome.
