font packages list

Hi, just thought it may be a good idea to put the packages list anywhere, which fonts are used for aliases by default. so I'm trying to generate the list from comps and the fontconfig file (to see the priority and the alias) in a package. Here is the list genereated: https://tagoh.fedorapeople.org/fonts/f14-defaultinstalledfonts.html That doesn't contain all of font packages but only font packages marked as "mandatory" or "default" in comps. also sorted out against the fontconfig priority. Also the source code is available at: http://fedorapeople.org/gitweb?p=tagoh/public_git/fonts-sig.git;a=tree;f=fo… I'm not checking everything so it might be wrong in some cases. any volunteers to check are always welcome :) Cheers, -- Akira TAGOH

Problem with headers and credits after the Transifex migration

Hej folks! I am not sure, whether this issue has already been discussed since the 'great migration' to transifex.net, but I have encountered a problem of the new transifex instance: Our well known headers, containing file-creation author and year, etc., which is un-commented by '#' are lost on the new platform. Because not every .po-file contains a 'translator-credit'-string, I guess we have a little psychological problem of crediting translators contribution in a way. This issue has already been reported as a bug: http://trac.transifex.org/ticket/675 But as we have discussed this a little on #transifex channel, it seems as if there is no one, who is able to implement such a feature (saving those headers, which are out of the gettext-context). So I wanted to ask, whether there is anyone out there, knowing python, who would like to fix this missing feature!? ;-) Kind regards, Nils

Adding currency symbol in indian locale

Hi All, I was looking for adding new Indian Rupee Symbol in Indian Locale i.e. locale with name *_IN But in some of the locale instead of Symbol, localized name of currency i.e. INR is written example: In bn_IN locale int_curr_symbol "<U0049><U004E><U0052><U0020>" INR currency_symbol "<U099F><U09BE><U0995><U09BE>" টাকা here currency_symbol should be ₹ <U20B9>, same application for even mr_IN, hi_IN see the reference of en_US int_curr_symbol USD currency_symbol $ I will make a patch to update new currency symbol for all the locale with *_IN. - Pravin S

Collaboration/Cooperation between distribution i18n/l10n teams

Hi, first let me introduce myself: My name is Oliver Burger and I am the substitute leader of the Mageia i18n team. While setting up / creating the infrastructure for Mageia we decided to use transifex for our i18n work. Lot's of things were discussed and done on i18n side as well as on sysadmin side. While looking into transifex we found at least two annoying issues with it. We have created a page in our temporary wiki (which will be replaced by a shiny new mediawiki installation soon but trying to preserve the contents) about transifex. Fedora 15 package rebuilds needed

Hi, I have tried to extract i18n packages from http://ausil.fedorapeople.org/rebuild.html that needs to be rebuilt for F15. That list is available at http://paragn.fedorapeople.org/rebuild-i18n.html Remember that we have now branched for F15. So, once you rebuild your package, you need to push it using bodhi.
