Hi,
just thought it may be a good idea to put the packages list
anywhere, which fonts are used for aliases by default. so
I'm trying to generate the list from comps and the
fontconfig file (to see the priority and the alias) in a
package.
Here is the list genereated:
https://tagoh.fedorapeople.org/fonts/f14-defaultinstalledfonts.html
That doesn't contain all of font packages but only font
packages marked as "mandatory" or "default" in comps. also
sorted out against the fontconfig priority.
Also the source code is available at:
http://fedorapeople.org/gitweb?p=tagoh/public_git/fonts-sig.git;a=tree;f=fo…
I'm not checking everything so it might be wrong in some
cases. any volunteers to check are always welcome :)
Cheers,

Hi All,
I have just released lohit-gujarati-fonts 2.4.5. Download it from
https://fedorahosted.org/lohit/
Though i added rupee symbol long time back in upstream, this is now
available with this release. Also removed hinting instructions from
lohit for more information see
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=682667

Hi All,
I have completed work on Gujarati and done first alpha release of 0.0.1,
one can get it from
https://fedorahosted.org/releases/i/n/indic-typing-booster/gujarati-typing-…
It is presently supporting inscript and itrans map. Special thanks
Hemant for quickly working on Gujarati logo.
Another good news is fedora new package review stuff is completed for
Marathi, Hindi and Gujarati ITB. I think by Mar 18 one should able to
add it by yum in fedora. Now our feature is almost 50% complete. :)

Now next steps are very important i.e. users feedback, fixing and
improving things to match expectations. Thanks to all for your valuable
support.

Hi All,
I have done first alpha release of hindi-typing-booster 0.0.1, and
also put fedora new package request
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=684112
One can download it from
https://fedorahosted.org/releases/i/n/indic-typing-booster/hindi-typing-boo…
Presently it is supporting Inscript and itranse maps for predictions.
Just i saw thread in IndLinux mailing list regarding bolnagari map,
we can surely add that in marathi and hindi typing booster package.
Lets this review gets completed so user can easily with yum, can
install the packages and do some initial test. We can also suggest them
for put RFE for project.
In between yesterday i filed 5 bugs for ibus-indic-tables since it
has presently unwanted thing also need some improvement, Naveen is
working on that.
Thanks,
Pravin S
Hi All,
Done upstream release of marathi-typing-booster-0.0.1.tar.gz, one can
download same from
https://fedorahosted.org/releases/i/n/indic-typing-booster/ (Note: One
need to manually first install ibus-indic-table from
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=11710)
I think ibus-indic-table will lang in tomorrows fedora rawhide.
This is alpha release, Since i am Marathi speaker i have done good
testing and fixed most of the bugs in database, but yeah still there is
lots of room for improvement.
Basically if we can gather all the .po translated for marathi and
extract words and frequency for same, It will give good results to
fedora marathi l10n. Will try this in next release.
Fedora New package request in now up
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=683725
Now working for Hindi...

Pravin S
