New upstream place and new releases

Hi All, Lohit has been moved from fedorahosted.org to pagure.io. New place is at pagure.io. [1] Lohit project scripts are updated to python3 and also some minor fixes to Lohit Nepali. We have done next upstream release with these updated script for Lohit fonts. Proposed beta blockers

Hello everyone, From our last meetings in the QA team we have a bug that is proposed as beta blocker but we can't decide if yes or no. We would like the input from the internationalization and desktop teams. I18N FAD proposal

Hi Friends, In last couple of i18n meeting we were talking about FAD. We had nice and successful G11N FAD in 2015. In that FAD we had participants from all G11N groups. But it also increased budget and getting approval and allowing all interested members were difficult. To avoid this situation we are planning to have small FAD's from onwards. i.e. FAD for i18n, FAD for translations etc. It will help to more events over the year and continue momentum to whole G11N. I have created page for i18n FAD. [1] Feel free to add your name there, it is specifically for i18n. Though location is not finalized but it will be mostly APAC also cant guarantee the travel budget to participants. But one can always participate remotely for at least some sessions. I will soon work with someone for Translation FAD proposal. I remember we had nice discussion with Zoltan, Jona and Jibec during flock 2016 for FAD. Fedora FTBFS bugs against Lohit in rawhide

Hi All, We have FTBFS i.e. Fail to build from scratch against Lohit fonts in Fedora for rawhide. [1] While analysing it seems no python2-devel BR in spec. While analysis further it seems moving script to python3 is must now. Same time "import fontforge" not working anymore further analysis of this got attention to issue. [2] It says rather than * python *.py Call it following way * fontforge -lang=py -script *.py Its working for Lohit as well. I am about to do upstream release with this fixes.
