Plan for tomorrow's Fedora Infrastructure meeting (2014-08-21)

The infrastructure team will be having it's weekly meeting tomorrow, 2014-08-21 at 18:00 UTC in #fedora-meeting on the freenode network. Moving Taskotron to Production

Now that Taskotron staging is up and running, I'm not sure what's generally required for services before moving to production. I'm still working out a few kinks in the initial production systems but I think that the only big thing left is the proxy settings, which I'm leaving alone for the moment. Is there any review process or checklist for moving things from stg to prod? Tim

Freeze exception for adjusting fedorapeople.org and copr URLs to HTTPS

Hi, I would like to propose the following change for a free exception since I added it already to ansible assuming it can be applied only to staging host where appropriate. Fedora 21 Alpha Freeze now in effect

Greetings. we are now in the infrastructure freeze leading up to the Fedora 21 Alpha release. This is a pre-release freeze. This means that hosts that are marked as freezing should not have any changes made to them except as part of a freeze break request (see below) We do this to make sure that our infrastructure is stable to allow for building/composing/testing and distributing Fedora 21 Alpha. This freeze will end 1 day after Fedora 21 Alpha is released. (Currently scheduled for 2014-09-09) Freeze breaks should be sent to this list, clearly describing the planned change and include patches (if applicable). Freeze breaks should not be applied until they have gotten at least 2 +1's from members of sysadmin-main and/or releng groups. Pkgdb2 hotfix freeze break

Good morning everyone, I just manually hotfix pkgdb2 for this fix: https://github.com/fedora-infra/pkgdb2/commit/e5ca8bcb2a1b8fed2a68c50ed959f… The idea is to keep allowing people who have the proper ACLs to commit on Orphaned packages (so that they can fix things). The bug was introduced in pkgdb (manually as well) by me yesterday morning before we went into freeze. Could I please have two +1 in retro? Thanks, Pierre

Hi everybody, My name is Valentin Gologuzov. I've recently joined Copr project at Red Hat. Prior I've been using Linux for a long time, but it was primarily debian, so the RH/Fedora ecosystem quite new for me. I have 3 year experience of backend development in Python, mainly aimed for service high availability and performance. From the infrastructure point of view, my first aim is to maintain Copr machines, as a backup for Miroslav (msuchy).
