From my experience, since FI also uses rkhunter, do the following before removing prelink:
# prelink -ua # rm /etc/prelink.cache # yum remove prelink # rkhunter --propupd

We already removed prelink and de-prelinked.
rkhunter needed an update in epel b/c before the most recent update it required prelink ;(
So Kevin fixed rkhunter's deps and it just made it through epel today so....
we win!
