Any more info please? A lot of work has been done to point external world to git sha objects in ansible.git repository, and all such links point to nowhere now. Is it OK to backup the old repo somewhere, and setup redirects?

Apologies, we cannot provide more info due to the nature of the request
A lot of work has been done to point external world to git sha objects in ansible.git repository, and all such links point to nowhere now.
We are aware of these breakages and regret them as much as you and others do.
Is it OK to backup the old repo somewhere, and setup redirects?
Unfortunately we cannot do that due to the regulatory concerns we had to respond to.

Do you mean things like tickets saying 'fixed in ansible XXXXXXXXXXXXX'?
Or is there some more automated thing pointing to objects in ansible?
Anyhow, this entire thing is unfortunate, but we do what we have to do. ;(
