--- Comment #1 from Coty Sutherland csutherl@redhat.com --- There aren't any conflicts with the naming of the package, however several of the dependencies that tomcat needs to build/run don't exist in RHEL 8 either (i.e. ecj, apache-commons-daemon, tomcat-taglibs-standard, geronimo-*, aqute-bnd*, wsdl4j). I'll have to look into it some more to see if there is some way for me to get those deps (maybe they're in epel-8 already?).
