I want to compile linux kernel 2.4.24 for my redhat 7.2. The attached file is my config file and the lspci command result and the error message. The kernel configure file is *configbk*. Your mail is off-topic for this list. You seem to be having problems with X rather than the kernel. Given the age of the distro you're running, it's not surprising really. The 845 probably never existed when that X package was built, so you lack a driver for it.
