Resending my mail from about a month ago. Any thoughts about enabling these two options?

Now Checkpoint/Restart in Userspace[1] has released the first version of their user-space tools I want to ask if it is possible to enable a few kernel configuration options to use criu? I have prepared a package for crtools but not yet submitted. As long as the kernel support is not enabled is does not make much sense.
Following additional options (according to http://criu.org/CR_tools) are necessary:
CONFIG_CHECKPOINT_RESTORE
which depends on
CONFIG_EXPERT
Any plans on enabling these options? Any chance these options can be enabled?
Adrian

I'm not wild about enabling that. There's been one other request to enable it, but it was more to get a side-effect of it than to actually use C/R.

Any specific reasons you do not want to enable it? Too experimental?
Most of the changes seem to touch the procfs and which information it provides. Just curious about the possible drawbacks.
