Hi,
Time to start compiling new features and major bug fixes for inclusion in the F8 release notes.
I'm noting...
- the addition of x86_64 tickless by default. - the Build ID - Wakeups - Laptop improvements - The changes to the spec file (new macros, changing name to kernel.spec) - Based on 2.6.22?
Other items?
I will be going through this list, BZ, the kernel changelog, etc - but any replies to this email are appreciated.
Thanks, Sam

In case you don't know: That's disabled currently afaics from http://cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewcvs/rpms/kernel/devel/kernel.spec?view=mark... ( "#ApplyPatch linux-2.6-highres-timers.patch")
Which brings me to the real reason of my mail: when will it get enabled and updated again? Can I/we help somehow?

Thomas is currently on vacation I believe, so it's in limbo until next week or so.
