Burned (loaded?) a 16Gb memory stick, no problem.
#Eventually, F12 whilst booting shows the boot selector on my Thinkpad, loaded with Windows xp.
When it went to boot from there, I got a message about not being a bootable... ?device? Unsure of the actual wording?
Looked at http://syslinux.zytor.com/doc/usbkey.txt
Couple of questions please?
" For example, if your device reports when inserted into a Linux system:
usb-storage: device found at 4 Vendor: 32MB Model: HardDrive Rev: 1.88 Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 SCSI device sda: 64000 512-byte hdwr sectors (33 MB)
... you would have 64000/(64*32) = 31.25 cylinders; round down to 31. "
What command shows that info please?
[root@marge ~]# fdisk -l /dev/sdd
Disk /dev/sdd: 16.1 GB, 16131293184 bytes 25 heads, 25 sectors/track, 50410 cylinders Units = cylinders of 625 * 512 = 320000 bytes Disk identifier: 0x04030201
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sdd1 4 50411 15752192 b W95 FAT32
I'm unsure if this tells me the same information or not?
Any guidance appreciated.
regards

It looks like your partition is not being marked as bootable. Please try the latest version of the liveusb-creator, which should handle this automatically.
Cheers,
