Hi.
Thank you for help Radka. I read your infos and docs from the links, also , I subscribe to mono mailing list. The jetbrains.com - rider is cool but € 299.00 is huge for one IDE. I used the default mono fedora IDE - MonoDevelop and is free. I used C# with windows and AForge libs, Unity under Windows in the past.
I need to use with libs into Fedora - linux and Gtk . I saw some packages con be imported into MonoDevelop but not docs, example or tutorials and this make me dig to libs and development.
I think will be great if fedora user will have a learning C# option (maybe a wiki page, magazine articles - tutorials or here[1])

Hi again!
Jetbrains Rider is for free right now, as it is not released yet (it does have a few bugs here and there, but it's bearable even for large projects.) After it will be released, Jetbrains is known for giving out freebies for open source, non-commercial contributors. MonoDevelop is nice on Linux, however it is not cross-platform anymore, mono is rather useless on windows, has lower performance, and loads of other disadvantages - only very few advantages. And you obviously can't write .NET Core with it. You can also take a look at VS Code for netcore projects on linux. See the microsoft ASP.NET Core tutorial in which they demonstrate it.

Yes, we will be re-shaping that page to fit the new age of C# on Linux within next few months.
Best regards, Radka
