Hi Jim,
thanks for the prompt reply. I’ve copied the rtc5dll.dll into windows/system32 (W_XP) and it worked: the error message disappeared and the RT5 is working now and the scanhead is moving fine.
The only remaining issue at the moment is that the laser PWM signal is inverted (active low instead of active high) and I’m not able to find how to change it in the software. I’ve tried inverting the I/O signals but nothing has changed. Any further help?

this typically means the RTC5-DLL could not be found7opened. Please copy this
DLL to your system-directory (depending on your operating system variant it is
windows/system32 or windows/syswow64).
