Good Morning Everyone,
I would like to invite anyone interested in pagure's development to join the first pagure stakeholder meeting, Friday December 7th at 1pm (13:00) UTC In your local time: date -d '2018-12-07 13:00 UTC'
The idea is to discuss progress and plan for the coming releases. While we're still working on 5.2, it will allow us to start planning for 5.3 and potentially 5.4. So if you would like to join, please have a look at the roadmap [1] and issue list [2] beforehand so we can optimize our time during the meeting.
Thanks in advance for your interest and looking forward meeting with you,
Pierre

Good Morning Everyone,
We have just held that meeting, here is a quick summary of its outcome:
Rollcall -------- - bkabrda - bookwar - cverna - karsten - lcp - lenka - pingou - Son_Goku
State of 5.2 ------------- https://pagure.io/pagure/roadmap/5.2/ 84% done, 9 tickets remaining of which 4 have pull-requests opened -> 2 extra tickets have been assigned to 5.2 during the triaging we did
Pagure release cadence ---------------------- After some discussion on time-based vs feature-based releases we ended up with these decisions: Let's try a strict time-based release cadence for pagure which we can always revisit in a few months if needed (0:1, +1:5) Release 5.2 on January 7th and monthly on the 7th after that
Which means: - beta release on the 1st -> pushed to stg - final release on the 7th
Planning 5.3 ------------ https://pagure.io/pagure/roadmap/5.3/ 14 tickets - 4 bugs - 10 RFEs
Ticket triaging ---------------
New milestones added to the project: coming 3 months, coming 6 months and release 5.4 The `Coming 3 months` and `Coming 6 months` milestones are flexible milestones they are here to try to pool a little bit the tickets into some sort of time-based priorities. If a ticket scheduled for the coming 3 months doesn't get done by then it is not an issue (unlike for release milestones).
New priorities added to the project: high, normal, low (to help sorting priorities within a milestone)
Results of the ticket triaging: - Closed - https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/3298 - 15 tickets for the 5.3 release (February 7th) - 1 ticket for the 5.4 release (March 7th) - 10 tickets on the `Coming 3 months` milestone - 2 tickets on the `Coming 6 months` milestone - Pinged on - https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/3525 - https://pagure.io/pagure/issue/3605
