python-bugzilla performance question

Is it just me or does querying RH bugzilla version 5 through python-bugzilla now painfully slow? Queries that took seconds to come back now take 10-15 minutes. Translating that same query into a bugzilla URL and clicking on it renders as expected within seconds but it seems querying with python-bugzilla now is almost unusable. Am I missing something? Where am I going wrong here? Thanks, -Dave

Cannot login to rh bugzilla

Hi, I would like to start using python-bugzilla to search for bugzillas based on a search url (bugzilla.redhat.com <http://bugzilla.redhat.com/> and partner-bugzilla.redhat.com <http://partner-bugzilla.redhat.com/>). It works for me for some sample query. Like this: bzapi = bugzilla.Bugzilla('bugzilla.redhat.com') simpleq = 'https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&…' query = bzapi.url_to_query(simpleq) bugs = bzapi.query(query) This works nicely. But my real query returns this when called without login: xmlrpc.client.Fault: <Fault 108: "Can't use cf_internal_whiteboard as a field name."> So I tried to login: bzapi.login(user=...,password=...) Unfortunately that returns: bugzilla.transport.BugzillaError: Login failed: The username or password you entered is not valid. I am pretty sure that the credentials are valid - I used them elsewhere. I'm happy to announce a new release of python-bugzilla, version 2.2.0. python-bugzilla is a library and commandline tool for interacting with a bugzilla instance, including querying, modifying, and creating bug reports. The release can be downloaded from: https://github.com/python-bugzilla/python-bugzilla/archive/v2.2.0.tar.gz https://pypi.python.org/pypi/python-bugzilla/2.2.0 This release includes: - Port tests to pytest - cli: --cert Client side certificate support (Tobias Wolter) - cli: add ability to post comment while sending attachment (Jeff Mahoney) - cli: Add --comment-tag option - cli: Add info --active-components - Add a raw Product.get wrapper API This release should work fine with bugzilla 5 XMLRPC API. Future python-bugzilla releases will start add support for bugzilla's REST API, which is the supported API going forward. python-bugzilla error: No module named bugzilla

Hi, I cloned the python Bugzilla git repository from https://github.com/python-bugzilla/python-bugzilla I am trying to update a custom field for multiple bugs. I am using Bugzilla CLI as follows: ./bugzilla --bugzilla [Bugzilla Server Name] --login --username [UserName] --password [Password] --ensure-logged-in modify [bug IDs] --field [Custom Field name]=”[Custom field Values]” I get the following error each time I execute: Traceback (most recent call last): File "./bugzilla", line 37, in <module> import bugzilla ImportError: No module named Bugzilla I have python 2.7.5 installed. I am facing the same problem. I have installed the python-bugzilla package and I am using the PyCharm IDE. This is the code I have: import bugzilla bz = bugzilla.Bugzilla(url="https://bugzilla.kernel.org") I get the following error when I run this code: AttributeError: module 'bugzilla' has no attribute 'Bugzilla' I appreciate any kind of help here. How to ignore obselete attachments

Hi, I have working system, that controls bugzilla bug with python-bugzilla. Today I noticed, whilst querying bugs with their attachmnets, there is only 'id' value for attachment, and I cannot find other way to get detailed information about attachment (mainly obselete flag). Is there a way to check and ignore bug attachments marked as obselete ? Thanks -Martin

nomail option for setting pm_score?

Hello, I know the answer to this but would like to officially hear it please in case I am missing something. We are running a bot to set the PM score hourly, it generates a lot of email noise where it is a bit redundant since the score change is driven by other changes like a severity update, etc. Is there any way to suppress these emails for pm score changes?
