Custom UI?

Hi, We are in the process of developing new centralized management system for our product. While doing research related to that I came across RHQ project and am very happy to see that it has all the features that we want like inventory, monitoring, configuration, operations, events etc. I am thinking of using RHQ as a base for our management application. But we are interested in building Custom UI as per customer requirement. So can you please let me know is it possible to have RHQ server as base but to have different UI for that? Are there any APIs available to build own UI? If it is not possible to have custom UI, can I modify exiting UI to add information related to our product etc.? JPPF connection to RHQ/JON?

Hello, I am working on a project that is using JPPF to do some intensive processing. I found that JPPF is a JMX server under the hood and I would like to connect it to JON (or RHQ). I'm not having any luck with this. I followed some instructions to connect Eclipse as a JMX server and had no problems with that. In that case I was using the Java 5 template for a JMX server and editing the URL. The JPPF conf files give properties and default values for JMX and RMI ports and host to connect to but JON does not report that a connection has been made. If anyone has any experience with this and can give me any clues that would be great. Thanks, John

Please help translating the RHQ 4 UI into your language

Hello, RHQ 4 has support for a internationalization (I18N) and has partially been translated to German already. Now we want your help to translate it into other languages as well. Minamoto-san has already starting to translate into Japanese (see https://fedorahosted.org/pipermail/rhq-devel/2011-April/000735.html and especially its attachment, which is linked ). help needed regarding monitoring of mysql

hi, I have installed rhq4 ,i have gone through the user documentation for monitoing a process.But things were not clear , as to how to exactly monitor mysql server,and how to take reading from the graphs.Could please send me the step by step procedure for this. Thank you, Nishanth.

Platform Column in Events View (RHQ4)

Hello, all. I'm using RHQ 4, and need to aggregate logs messages from multiple JBoss 4 instances in a single view. I get the events from all of the members of my dynamic group on the group's events tab, but I don't see an indication of which message came from which group member. Problems building and starting RHQ from source

Hi, I'm trying to build RHQ from source, following the building guide from the rhq web site. help needed for monitoring torquebox-1.0.0.CR1 process

Hi, i have installed rhq-server-4.0.0.Beta1 ,also the rhq-enterprise-agent-4.0.0.Beta1.they run perfectly fine.I needed some help regarding how to monitor the the application process that i run using the torquebox-1.0.0.CR1.I saw the user documentation of rhq ,the video demos of process monitoring process,but that did'nt help me.In the torque box i deploy, and run the application called redmine.It runs but i dont know how to monitor the process.Kindly help. RHQ at JBoss Server 5.1.0GA

Hi, I need some help, please. I was trying to deploy RHQ at JBoss Server 5.1.0GA... To do this, I just copied the rhq.ear folder to the deploy folder (at JBoss 5.1) and modify some configuration files, like: rhq-ds, etc. The reason to do this is that I want to invoke the rhq server services from my own application (it runs at JBoss 5.1). (I know that there are workarounds to do this, but install a RHQ standalone server is not an option). However, I'm getting some errors (or warning situations): 1. The deploy takes a lot of time, like 5 to 10 minutes. 2. The deploy breaks down when trying to deploy the rhq-portal.war.
