I need suggestion about RHQ presentation from you guys

Hi All, I want to make a brief introduce on RHQ at the coming JBUG event, which will be held in Beijing China at end of this month. I have some questions on RHQ to make some slides: 1. What does 'RHQ' stand for? Is there a full name for this? 2. How many users(just estimate) use RHQ? 3. What is the biggest competitor of RHQ? If you have some presentation material about introduction of RHQ, would you please share them with me for reference? Any suggestions would be great for me. Thank you! -- BR Lin Gao

Script Server not working for mongoDB

Hello, We've setup three nodes with RHEL5.3 and same hardware specifications. One node installed with RHQ server and remaining two each installed with mongoDB and RHQ agent to monitor mongoDB. I've discovered that RHQ 4.4 Script Server plugin is not working for mongoDB version 2.0.3. The initial availability scan indicates mongoDB is UP but thereafter it unable to detect the availability change (Goes Down and Goes UP). After the initial scan It is always showing UP. Anyone encounter this problem before? Thank you. Regards, Charles Leow P.S. I've also posted a thread regarding Process plugin to monitor mongoDB. The availability update is very slow. Availability scan for Process Scan

Hello, We've setup three nodes with RHEL5.3 and same hardware specifications. One for RHQ server and remaining two for RHQ agents to monitor mongoDB. mongoDB is monitored using Process resource type with Pid File and PIQL query types. Each query type is setup on a different node. However we found that the availability scan for both agents does not respond in a decent time. In fact sometimes it takes more than 30 minutes to reflect the actual availability of mongoDB. We're using default configuration in agent. The value for rhq.agent.plugins.availability-scan.period-secs is also default (30 seconds). Anyone encounter this problem before? Thank you.
