Note that there is one known issue now in master since we are on EAP 6.3.alpha. That version of EAP cannot be reloaded.
This means that currently "rhqctl install --start" does not work. Some odd NIO exceptions occur and neither the agent nor the GUI work (both don't work probably because they go through the same web connector). I get an exception similar to this - and it could be the same problem: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1090291 (note that BZ's title indicates it is only a problem on Windows, but I see it on Fedora.)
To workaround, you simply do "rhqctl install && rhqctl start".
This should go in the release notes of the next RHQ release.
This is not a problem in later versions of EAP, so when we move to another EAP version after 6.3.alpha, this problem goes away.
