Hello all,
I've just been tipped off on this project, by Peter Vrabec through the open-scap list. I am keen to dig into the efforts that have been started, both for business and community reasons. As of yet, I am reading the documents and the git clone bits, but look to have questions and input for the project. Until then, this serves as an introduction.
Take care, vb http://hashbangbash.com/
Great, welcome.
We're always looking for contributions about best practice, as well as help with annotating existing portions of guidance in order to reference policy documents (to help simplify C&A for other folks). Of course, authoritative policy can depend on your particular industry or part of government, as well as the system's role.
Feel free to send questions anytime.
Thanks, Jeff

Is there a BugZilla/ticketing/wiki/tracking system/list showing what areas need to be worked on? If it doesn't exist, it'd be great to have an area where potential contributors can quickly scan a list of "to do's" and consumers could submit requests.
I saw the ticket list at https://fedorahosted.org/scap-security-guide/report/1, but it looks like it wasn't used in some time. Perhaps we could revive it?
