Greetings! Matt Miller mentioned to me on the QA list to also see about
contributing to the Security Group.
My name is Hugh Campbell and I'm a member of the Platform Security group at
Riot Games. Prior to coming to Riot I was a Red Hatter doing services work
primarily with OpenShift 4.x, Ansible, RHV, and Satellite. Most of my
skills are in the areas of DevOps, Infrastructure, Site Reliability
Engineering, and Information Security. I spent 15 years with the DOD
ecosphere as a Computer Scientist/Systems Engineer across various INFOSEC
levels prior to going back into the private sector in 2017.
I’ve been an active Linux user since 2001 and have used Fedora since Core 1
release. Outside of some organizations requirements to use an enterprise
Linux distribution such as RHEL/CentOS for workstations (and a brief period
of using Debian/Ubuntu as a change of pace), Fedora has been my primary
day-to-day driver for all my systems at home and at work.
My IRC nick is duckdanger on Freenode in case you need to reach out to me.
I look forward to working with y’all and contributing to Fedora’s continued
success now and into the future!
