I see lots of queries like this in the LDAP logs:
(&(uidNumber=4294967295)(objectClass=posixAccount))
Any clue why sssd asks for this non-existent uidNumber?

Looks like there is a application which expects that the user 'nobody' has the UID -1, which is 4294967295 when converted to an unsigned 32bit integer.
