Hi List,
Is anyone using kerberized nfs with sssd on F-19? On my box systemd automatically stops nfs-secure service in spite of the fact it is enabled. I have to re-start it manually after reboot.
It is probably some issue with systemd, but I thought I will give it a try and ask here before submitting BZ.
Thanks, Ondrej

I do on my desktop and haven't seen the issue (F-19).
Simo.

Ah but I just recalled there's a twist, I use it through autofs, not sure if that would make a difference.
Simo.
Me too, but nfs-secure is dead after system restart. Will sink into the logs to find out.
Btw, in your case, will automounter unmount kerberized mounts after inactivity period? In my case, it does not :-(
Thanks, Ondrej

So is rpc.gssd dead on your system ?

No but I explicitly disabled it, I do not use autofs for homes.
Simo.
Not dead, just won't start automatically. Would you be willing to test automatic umounts for me? It just seems to be a bug in autofs - I need to double check.
Many thanks. Ondrej

I lied :-)
I just checked and I had the partition unmounted, and as soon as I cd'd in to it autofs mounted it. So I would say automatic mounts and unmounts work just fine here.

Yes. The nfs-utils package is a little tricky in how it's been set up for systemd. You may need to
systemd enable nfs.target *and* systemd enable nfs-secure.service

Thanks, Now I know. There is a BZ opened for this already. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Ondrej
