Hello All,
I was wondering, are there any requirements regarding openssl versions required for different sssd versions?
To be more specific, I have a quite old sssd-1.9 which uses ancient (pre 1.0.1) OpenSSL. How do you think, should I have any objections before updating OpenSSL to something more secure?
Regards, Chris

Recent versions of SSSD work well with OpenSSL-1.1 so if you have issues with a newer OpenSSL version you should find a commit in master that might help to fix it, e.g.: commit 8f1316a0c677f211eaaa1346e21a03446b8c4fb1 "crypto: Port libcrypto code to openssl-1.1"
