F24 beta virt-install with kickstart fails
by Jos Vos
Hi,
Did anyone succeed in virt-install'ing F24 beta using kickstart
(on CentOS 6 host, if that matters)?
I see lots of warnings (dracut-initqueue), then the console goes
into a slowly filling bar at the bottom (plymouthd!?), then I see
lots of "No space left on device" errors, then a dracut emergency
shell is started.
The generated rdsosreport.txt contains 34284 lines...
FWIW, when *not* using kickstart I can install F24 beta on the
same system with virt-install fine.
Thx,

A major F24 feature is a
[https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/LUCasPrimaryDownloadable rewrite
of liveusb-creator] which may become the primary download for Workstation
(so instead of an ISO file, you'd get the liveusb-creator app from the
Workstation download page). However, we really haven't done much testing
of it yet and don't know if it's working properly, running on all the
platforms it needs to run on, and has all the features it ought to have.
This would be a great topic for a Test Day. We should co-ordinate with the
developers, Jiri Eischmann and Martin Briza, on this - they're both pretty
familiar with QA so they should be open to working with us. I'll mail them
and ask them to sign up to this ticket.

After discovering https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1221247 it
seems reasonable we should test this more properly in the future.
Currently we seem to have no test case about resizing partitions in manual
part dialog. We probably should, and test it against at least a standard
partition and a logical volume. Optionally, we can split standard
partitions into ext4 and ntfs, to cover similar use cases as in our
QA:Testcase_partitioning_guided_shrink .

php-nrk-Predis-1.0.4-1.fc23 (FEDORA-2016-fcbe63277d)
PHP client library for Redis
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
**Version 1.0.4** (2016-05-30) - Added new profile for Redis 3.2 with its new
commands: `HSTRLEN`, `BITFIELD`, `GEOADD`, `GEOHASH`, `GEOPOS`, `GEODIST`,
`GEORADIUS`, `GEORADIUSBYMEMBER`. The default server profile for Predis is
still the one for Redis 3.0 you must set the `profile` client option to `3.2`
when initializing the client in order to be able to use them when connecting
to Redis 3.2. - Various improvements in the handling of redis-cluster: -
If the connection to a specific node fails when executing a command, the
client tries to connect to another node in order to refresh the slots map
and perform a new attempt to execute the command. - Connections to nodes
can be preassigned to non-contiguous slot ranges via the `slots` parameter
using a comma separator. This is how it looks like in practice:
`tcp://127.0.0.1:6379?slots=0-5460,5500-5600,11000`. - __FIX__: broken values
returned by `Predis\Collection\Iterator\HashKey` when iterating hash keys
containing integer fields (PR #330, ISSUE #331). - __FIX__: prevent failures
when `Predis\Connection\StreamConnection` serializes commands with holes in
their arguments (e.g. `[0 => 'key:0', 2 => 'key:2']`). The same fix has been
applied to `Predis\Protocol\Text\RequestSerializer`. (ISSUE #316).
