Description of problem: No translation for GDM login screen "Password:" with system locale "ru_RU.utf8".
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora release 16 (Verne) gdm.x86_64 1:3.2.1.1-8.fc16
How reproducible: Always reproducible.
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set russian language (ru_RU.utf8) in system parameters. 2. Reboot. 3. Try to login.
Actual results: "Password:"
Expected results: "Пароль:"

System locale settings set by gnome-control-center (with administrator privileges) are saved to /etc/locale.conf. These settings are used to localize screen where you select user from the list to login.
$ cat /etc/locale.conf LANG=ru_RU.utf8
But settings for "Password:" screen localization, where you should enter password are taken from /etc/sysconfig/i18n.
